Create a new document (File>New) size doesn’t matter but I made mine 400 x 400 px with
a White Background.

Step 2.

Use the Text tool to write your company name, in this case Google. I used the font Catull, if you do not have this font you can use Times New Roman.

Step 3.

Now you have to change the colour of each letter by highlighting the letter and selecting the colour. Use the colours that I have specified below.

Step 4.

Now we go to Blending option (Layer>Layer Styles>Blending options) And we use the following settings.

Step 5.

Now we have to add some lighting effects, we do this by going to (Filter>Render>Lighting Effects) use the following settings.

Now you are done you should having something that looks similar to this and the Google logo.
